Last South African Home before we leave for home!!

Well, we made it to Capetown safe and sound.  Are staying at a nice place in Durbanville which is a suburb, or possibly a town of its' own just outside of Capetown.  Both Ted & I have had a run with a sore throat and head cold.  Yesterday was a recoup day, just layed around and watched T.V., and tried to get better.  today we are on a walk-a-bout, trying to figure out the city.  We are still alittle plugged up - and moving a little slower than normal.

The spot we are staying in for the next 9 days is a B&B, but we have our own suite or self-catering unit as they are called here.  There is a pool and a jacuzzi, and laundry services for 20R a basket - I did our own laundry this morning before we went out!!  We have to save our cash for Beer!!!

We will have to rent a vehicle in the next day or so - so we can check out the sites.  There is alot to see around Capetown, and we will have to get on it - or we will be running out of time.

Hello to all of our Farmer Friends!!  I'm sure your tans are cracking up and fallling off already!!!  Hope you all had a great trip with no mishaps!! 

Should go now and find either a restaraunt for supper, or maybe rough it and just get some groceries and cook our own.  We'll see what happens.

Will write again when we have more to tell, and maybe we'll remember our cord for our camera next time and update some of these messages with pics!!  This connection seems pretty fast - so it won't take quite so long!!!
