The kids were supposed to leave the camp at 2pm...we were all excited, all the cousnelors were going to be moving off and being redistributed among other camps because Tour de Buis was closing for Easter holiday. Since there was 6 cousnelors, and all of us were leaving that day, we had to make 2 trips to the train station. Well, the kids bus didn't arrive until 2:30pm, and the driver wanted a coffee. Finally at 3pm, after much angst and frustration, the bus finally depazrted...all of us jetted to pack our bags immediately because the first taxi was leaving for the train station at 3:15pm. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Vienne from Tour de Buis, so 4 counselors first went, and 2 of us stayed and waited. The taxi came back and got us there just in time to make our 4:47pm departure to Lyon. Lyon's train station is the central station in that area, so to go anywhere, you have to start from Lyon.

I rode the train from Vienne to Lyon with Sweet Pea, Zoofah, and Talulah...we sat in the reserved section and opened the windows to let our hair fly with the wind. The train from Vienne to Lyon was only 20 minutes, so luckily there wasn't any time for the train security to come and check our tickets (because we were sitting in the reserved section). Those three went to Maconville (for the camp Azé) and I waited calmly for my train that headed to Vichy...
