I have to say the scariest part of the whole tour was not falling off a horse or being followed by yak, but the crazy driving in Ulaan Baatar! I woke up with a jolt to see cars either side of us, no lanes, no signs and no speed limits. We actually watched a pedestrian being hit by a car, thankfully it was slow-moving and we saw her get up but its still hair-raising! When we got back at the Golden Gobi Hostel we enjoyed a long shower and Internet access. That evening we took our guide and driver out for a beer and a Chinese. Josh and Steve stayed up all night to watch England beat France in the Rugby World Cup- a good game I was told!

We boarded our train at 8am and left Mongolia for this time, but we both hope to come back.
