Road Trip Day Four

We left Mesa Verde around 7am, stopped at the Four Corners for a bit, and then went on to the Grand Canyon! We had three hours of hiking time, one at first, so I hiked on the rim trail for a while. Then we had two hours after lunch and Ketki and I hiked down the Blue Angel trail, we guess about a mile down before we had to head back up. Ketki did the whole hike in flip flops!! I was wearing sneakers, surprise surprise right? It was a beautiful day and we all had a lot of fun! I even met an AmeriCorps NCCC alum there  who had the same project as Green Four and Silver Two had this year. Small world. And then we drove another three hours to Needles, CA...
